How to get ready for extreme trip alone
Forget about your comfortable mini van and nice company. Every
hundred-per-cent he-man must have at least one extreme trip in his life. Are
you ready?
First, choose the place. An impassable forest or mountain river is right
choice. Your backyard is wrong choice.
Second, you must make a will. On the off chance.
Things you'll need:
1. Backpack. The smaller, the better. As you're going to have really extreme
fun, so you'll not need all these unnecessary things - tent, sleeping-bag,
food etc.
2. Compass. No GPRS, only this old and reliable device. It's all the same
that you don't understand how it works - the easy ways are not for you.
3. Cream or spray with disgusting smell to avoid mosquito bites. Keep in
your mind that a great part of such chemical based products can turn you
trip into hell, because attracts bazillions of insects.
4. Book-key, very thick and heavy, to recognize all of these growing, flying
and creeping creatures. You have to know which of them will be good for your
stomach, and which will be ready to fill their paunches with your shivery
flesh.
5. Sketchbook and pencils. No photo or video camera. It's very easy to make
a shot of these snake ball, but get it drawn, staying alive and kicking - it's
an outstanding skill. In any case, your relatives will sell these drawings
on eBay for pretty high price.
6. ID card. When rescuers will find you (hungry, frozen and able to
pronounce nothing), they'll have a chance to get you home, to your angry
wife and crying kids.
Whatever happens, you will prove that you are able to do something great.
Your friends will exclaim: "Well done!" Your wife will never ask you to be a
he-man anymore. |
